In the Summer months, the town offers movie nights in the local park for families, as well as a Thursday market with vendors, food trucks, and music. The town’s waterfront location makes it the perfect spot for water recreation of all kinds. If you love a good historical tour, you can visit The Graycliff Estate, designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, and built between 1926 and 1931.

Parks

Bennett Beach and Wendt Beach Park are popular recreation and tourism locations that bring in both locals and visitors to enjoy the sights. Sturgeon Point Marina is also a popular recreation spot in the town located on the shores of Lake Erie. Sturgeon Point also offers water slips, dry docks, a restaurant, and four launch ramps for boaters to take advantage of. Wendt Beach Park is a great 178-acre beach that gives locals the opportunity for beachcombing, hiking, picnicking, baseball, and soccer.
