The nearby village of Springville offers big-box shopping and dining options. The community library is close by in Springville and offers children’s programs and other community programs. The town hosts several community events in the parks such as the annual craft fair and the annual car show for locals to enjoy. The Concord Historical Society hosts an annual fiddle fest for local music lovers to enjoy.
Parks
The town is home to two great parks operated by the Erie County Parks System.
Scoby Dam Park is located on the banks of Cattaraugus Creek, and is a great place for water sports, fishing, picnics, and beautiful views. Sprague Brook Park is wonderful for an afternoon game of tennis or a fishing trip on one of the three ponds. You can also enjoy this park for winter sports like cross-country skiing and snowmobiling.
Schools
Students who live in the town of Concord attend the Village of Springville school system where there is one high school, one middle school, and one elementary school. The area also offers a private school option – St. Aloysius School in Springville.
