Sucks to be a buyer! With interest rates increasing so should inventory but unfortunately the opposite is happening. The shortage will continue to persist for probably another 3 to 4 years and frankly the market won’t really start to correct until the Federal Government stops messing with the markets.

To be a buyer these days requires you to be creative and patient. As much as many current homeowners would like to sell their current home and move up they too have few options and are locked in at favorable interest rates that are hard to give up.
