Environmental Law gets a reality check

I’m thinking hell has frozen over this morning, California is prepared to roll back their environmental law that New York State based its own SEQRA (State Environmental Quality Review Act) law on. While the concept of building Enviromentally Friendly projects is a no brainer these laws have become disastrous impairments to development in both states. While not the only reason it’s by far one of the leading causes of high building cost that has lead to the housing crisis we have today and a huge contributor to homelessness.
